Built in the late 1950s early 60s Is was built to spot wildfires for the province of New Brunswick it was a 80 foot tower with a common cupola cabin on top it sat on top of a hill to where you could see all the way to Prince Edward Island and mount Carlton where another lookout is . It got dismantled and sold for steel beams in early 1980s like all other fire tower in New Brunswick except for the still standing blackville fire tower
