Description
A temporary cabin was built for Aircraft Warning Service use in 1942. These cabins were usually replaced by a specific observation structure within a short period of time. Unknown if this took place at LePerron Peak.
The US Forest Service was frequently charged with the construction, staffing, management and dispatch for AWS sites.
