Description
Bernard Peak was originally a pole tower built in 1919. In the 1930s, it was replaced by a 40' pole tower with a 7'x7' cab. A 40-foot treated timber L-4 tower was later built in 1948 and destroyed in 1976.
Chad Kinzel was the fire lookout at this tower from June 1967 to September 1967.
