A 12x12 D-6 Cupola structure was constructed 1919/20 per an announcement from the Forest Service's Ed Pulaski of 1910 Big Burn and the "Pulaski" firefighting tool fame.
The lookout served until 1936 when it was destroyed in a wildfire and not rebuilt. Some remains are still on the site.
