Description
The 48' iron tower with spiral stairs and a 10'x10' cab was built on town park land and first operated in 1913. The town of Wakefield contributed $350 to the costs of this tower. In 1958, a new cab was built. In 1964, the tower closed at the end of the fire season. In 1968, the tower was dismantled.
