| Comments: | Tower was removed in Summer of 2004. State Auction by Missouri Department of Conservation - bought by person in Poplar Bluff, MO. 4 man crew dismantled tower by hand. Tower had fallen into disrepair due to vandalism. Two bottom landings had been removed by Conservation Department. Cab had most glass broken out when removed, several wooden steps and landing boards were gone. Spent a lot of time manning the tower during fire season in my younger days. |
