Description
A crows nest lookout was added to the Green Point summit in 1933. In 1939 pole L-4 tower was built by the CCC. It was briefly used in 1942 for aircraft surveillance during World War II, but was subsequently destroyed by a windstorm in 1951. Today, a laddered tree from the crows nest lookout remains.
