Description

A crows nest set up in 1926 was replaced in 1934 with a 50' wooden L-6 tower and ground cabin. The lookout was named in honor of Douglas C. Ingram, a victim of the 1929 Camas Fire near Chelan, WA. He was the Ranger responsible for the construction of the original lookout, known as Tamarack Point, but never was a lookout staffer himself. The lookout was removed in the 1960s.
