This 45' steel tower with 16'x16' cab was first operated in 1936 and was removed circa 1941. According to the National Geographic Survey this tower was called the "Lonsdale" tower, had a flat roof that was painted blue. The tower site is in the middle of a new neighborhood, approximately between Countryside and Morgan roads. The last survey of USGS, 1968, indicates that the owner of the land stated that the tower would be torn down within 2 years. This is in direct conflict with state records stating the removal was circa 1941
