Description
Located near the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Buffalo Mountain tower was located on the rocky summit of this habitat for rare plants and animal species. The tower was removed before 1987 (believed to be in 1986) when the area became part of the Buffalo Mountain Natural Area Preserve.
