Description
The log cabin constructed on the site in 1946 was replaced by a L-4 cab in 1954. In 1968 a 40 foot wooden tower with a DNR style cab was built. The lookout was last staffed in 1998. One of the tower legs was broken in a storm over the winter of 2006-2007 and the tower was removed in 2007.
