Description

Built in 1933, this L-4 ground house on a concrete foundation, with patrol point at Lookout Mountain one mile east, was removed in 1952.

On July 25, 1945, the lookout duo on Swede Pass reported a fire approximately 12 miles north. Forest Service investigators concluded that the fire was caused by a Japanese balloon bomb attack.
